ODOR REMOVAL
Odor Removal Package

This service is perfect for any vehicle with a lingering smell like smoke odor, dog odor, or spilled liquid or food
TURNAROUND: APPROXIMATELY 4 – 8 HOURS
THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES: LEVEL 2 INTERIOR
- Every surface, like the headliner, under the seats, carpeting, and floor mats, will be thoroughly vacuumed. We remove the old cabin air filter as well
- Using a specific odor cleaner, all the plastics, leather, and rubber surfaces will be thoroughly cleaned (even the hard to reach areas)
- Using our hot water extractor and a odor specific cleaner, the seats, carpet, floor mats, seat belts, and if possible, the headliner will be shampooed
- Every interior window and mirror will be cleaned to remove residue and leave a streak-free appearance
- Before we can continue, the interior must be 100% dry. We’ll place 3 to 6 air movers across the interior to speed up the drying. Based on the condition, this varies greatly in time. Finally, we install a brand new cabin air filter
- After the interior detail is complete, we go in with our commercial grade Ozone machine. We’ll run the treatment for 30 mins to 4 hours depending on the condition, and repeat as needed
HUBBARD'S AUTO DETAILING SMOKE ODOR REMOVAL PROCESS
One of the more challenging odors to remove from your interior is smoke odor. Nicotine and tobacco can become trapped inside the textile fibers throughout your entire interior (even in locations you can’t see).
The two most important elements in determining how much odor we can remove are 1) how long it has been smoked in and 2) how much it has been smoked in.
The longer (and more intense) the smoking in the interior, the more difficult and time-consuming it will be to eliminate the stench to a suitable level. Unfortunately, if it is a severe problem caused by years of excessive smoking, our prospects of completely eradicating it are extremely limited.
We can surely lessen the smoke odor at that point, but we can’t get rid of it of the smoke odor entirely, it would require you to replace some of the fabric material like the headliner, carpeting, and floor mats.
INTENSIVE INTERIOR CLEANING AND ODOR REMOVAL PROCESS
It will not be a rapid 3-hour work for any level of smoke odor, as with our Full Interior Cleaning service. We require that the car be left at our facility for at least one day to ensure that the process is completed appropriately.
The service’s purpose is to avoid masking the stench of smoke with fragrance or perfume. Its purpose is to remove, diminish, and erase the coating of nicotine and tobacco left behind by smoking from your interior. This is the only method to guarantee long-term success. We want to ensure that the stench does not return once we deliver the automobile to you.
Fortunately, we’ve dealt with some very bad smoke smelling automobiles in the past.
Fortunately, we’ve dealt with some really bad smoke odor automobiles in the last year and are completely confident in our procedure. We may schedule a time and date for you to visit our shop so that we can check the interior and explain the various alternatives available to you.
There aren’t many places in Maryland that specialize in removing smoke odors. Simply shampooing or steaming the interior is insufficient to significantly minimize or eradicate odor.
If you only have a residual odor since the interior hasn’t been cleaned in a while, our Full Interior Cleaning service would be a better choice.
It is absolutely necessary you replace your cabin air filter with a new one. If you keep the old one in, even after we do the entire odor removal process, once you turn on your AC, all the trapped smoke odor in the filter will circulate right back into the interior.
Although it’s only a six-step process, it can take between 10 to 15 hours to completely finish the service. A majority of the time comes down to waiting for the Ozone treatment to be finish and air out so we can inspect it.
Price will vary based on size, condition, and severity of the smoke odor.
Due to the nature of the service, we may require the vehicle to stay at our shop location for at least 1 full day

We will inform you about changing your cabin air filter and that is on you to change it before turning the AC on. It’s your responsibility to change your cabin air filter before using the A/C again to properly remove the odor. If you do not adhere to our terms and the smell returns, it is on you and we take NO responsibility.
